Diet Plans for Weight Loss

Since obesity epidemic has been termed, is attracting attention across the world. In America, weight loss has become the industry. The air is thick with talks and discussions on counter-different diet plans, which have been proposed by different people.

There is a 5-Factor Diet, the Atkins Diet, Bob Greene 's Best Life Diet, South Beach Diet, cabbage soup diet, carbohydrate Addict ' s Diet, Anne Collin diet, and now you have the DASH diet and Fat Smash Diet and Size Zero and Diet …. it goes on!

Applicants for each of these plans, diet claims, how much you can lose weight and how fast you can lose weight. Some go to the extent of claiming that to lose 10-12 pounds a week whereas medical experts warn that such claims are ridiculous and weight loss of such proportions could come only with the loss of water, which is harmful to the system. In addition, there is always a danger only to gain weight so quickly when to stop work on the plan.

Essentially all of these plans boil down to several bases! Masses of the body is through the fat, muscle, bone and water. Excessive intake of calories is responsible for the increased weight and so reduce the excessive consumption of calories. Increase metabolism of fats, so that they can be stored outside the burned; burn the fat that is stored in the body through exercises and burning fat foods. But do not starve the body of basic nutrients.

Essentially, diet plans can be divided into three categories: "FAD diets, which are based on specially processed foods and which may be called as a" natural diet "plans.

There is no clear definition of "FAD diet" is very subjective. FAD diet is popularly considered to be poor diet weight loss. A FAD diet in general is becoming very popular and very quickly falls for the benefit so quickly. FAD diets claim, often very rapid weight loss. Their conclusions about the effectiveness are generally not confirmed by any legitimate scientific research. Often promoted by the parties, which publishes books on diets or those that sell certain ingredients or additives, which are part of the FAD diet, diet FAD can not achieve anything in whole or in time may have an adverse impact on health.

The natural diet plan is based on the use of food ingredients, which are normally in your diet, but recommends that certain components as a helpful and some others as harmful in terms of weight loss. For example, it may recommend certain fish such as sardines, herring, etc as the provision of favourable Omega 3 fatty acids, or may recommend the use of lean meat, but not others, such as pork, it may recommend low-fat, skimmed milk, but not normal fresh milk. The natural diet is based on very understandable and acceptable scientific knowledge.

The third category of diet plans mentioned above are based on the use of specially prepared food ingredients or additives, this category is so commercialized that even if there is no scientific basis, sometimes lies on the border FAD diet plans.
